In Friday's league contest, the visiting West Branch Warriors basketball squad scored a tight 75-68 victory over the Curwensville Golden Tide.

With the victory, West Branch advances its record to 18-2 on the year. The Warriors host Glendale (Flinton, PA) to meet the Vikings in a Moshannon Valley battle on Tuesday, February 4. The Vikings enter the battle with a record of 4-14. Glendale lost 53-48 in their recent league battle against Williamsburg (Williamsburg, PA)

The Golden Tide now own a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 1. Curwensville will meet a WolfPack squad coming off a 60-52 league win over Newport (Newport, PA). The WolfPack record now stands at 11-7.
