January 31, 2025: Decatur, TX 76234 The Decatur Eagles (Decatur, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Springtown Porcupines (Springtown, TX), 75-50 in Friday's league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 24-7 record. They play next when they travel to Burkburnett for a 4A Region I District 7 bout on Tuesday, February 4. Decatur will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 75-48 league win over Castleberry (Fort Worth, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 23-6.
With the loss, Springtown falls to 9-20 on the campaign. The Porcupines host Eagle Mountain (Fort Worth, TX) to play the Knights in a 4A Region I District 7 bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 15-13. Eagle Mountain lost 60-31 in their recent league bout against Krum (Krum, TX)
