California High School Basketball - Waterford can't hold off Delhi
January 31, 2025: Waterford, CA 95386 Delhi Hawks (Delhi, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Waterford Wildcats (Waterford, CA), 50-49 in a league match.
With the victory, Delhi upgrades its record to 11-12 on the year. The Hawks host Stone Ridge Christian (Merced, CA) to face the Knights in a Southern League match on Wednesday, February 5. The Knights enter the match with a record of 16-8.
The Wildcats now sport a 9-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Le Grand for a Southern League match on Monday, February 3. Waterford will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 63-26 league loss to Denair (Denair, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-19.
