In Friday's league test, the Westminster Christian Academy Lions (Watkinsville, GA) basketball squad got by the host Edmund Burke Academy Spartans (Waynesboro, GA), by a score of 55-54.

Next, the Lions clash with the Augusta Prep Day Cavaliers (Augusta, GA) in a GIAA AA Region 4 test, on Tuesday, February 4. Westminster Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 11-8 season record.
