The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Evanston Wildkits (Evanston, IL) and the host New Trier Trevians (Winnetka, IL), observed Evanston's basketball team overcome New Trier by a score of 62-52.

The Wildkits (19-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Benet Academy (Lisle, IL). The Redwings come into the non-league challenge with a 20-4 record. In their last challenge, Benet Academy defeated Rich Township (Olympia Fields, IL), 73-56, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Trevians battle the McHenry Warriors (McHenry, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 1. New Trier will attempt to improve on its 18-7 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 19-2 record after their 73-41 league win over Crystal Lake Central (Crystal Lake, IL).
