In Friday's league test, the Wink Wildcats (Wink, TX) basketball squad trounced the host Fort Hancock Mustangs (Fort Hancock, TX), by a score of 63-29.

Next, the Wildcats encounter the Iraan Braves (Iraan, TX) in a 2A Region I District 6 test, on Tuesday, February 4. Wink will attempt to improve on its 20-9 season record. The Braves come into the test with a 8-13 record after their 65-27 league win over Fort Hancock (Fort Hancock, TX).
