With the victory, Phoenix advances its record to 12-11 on the year. The Spartans host McDonogh 35 (New Orleans, LA) to meet the Roneagles in a non-league battle on Wednesday, February 5. The Roneagles enter the battle with a record of 23-6.
The Trojans now own a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lutheran for a C District 8 battle on Monday, February 3. Grand Isle will meet a Gryphons squad coming off a 57-33 non-league win over Ecole Classique (Metairie, LA). The Gryphons record now stands at 2-6.
