The Linganore Lancers (Frederick, MD) basketball crushed the visiting South Carroll Cavaliers (Sykesville, MD), 76-40 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Lancers now possess a 9-6 record. They play next when they host South Hagerstown for a CMC bout on Monday, February 3. Linganore will play a Rebels team coming off a 79-56 league loss to Governor Thomas Johnson (Frederick, MD). The Rebels record now stands at 5-10.

With the loss, South Carroll falls to 7-5 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Winters Mill (Westminster, MD) to play the Falcons in a Carroll County bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 4-11. Winters Mill lost 74-59 in their recent league bout against Liberty (Sykesville, MD)
