January 31, 2025: Monmouth, IL 61462 In Friday's league test, the Monmouth United Red Storm (Monmouth, IL) basketball squad trounced the visiting Wethersfield Flying Geese (Kewanee, IL), by a final score of 62-27.
Next, the Red Storm clash with the Stark County Rebels (Toulon, IL) in a Lincoln Trail test, on Tuesday, February 4. Monmouth United will attempt to upgrade on its 14-10 season record. The Rebels come into the test with a 4-15 record after their 64-50 league loss to Annawan (Annawan, IL).
The Flying Geese (6-18) will now prepare for their test against Orion (Orion, IL). The Chargers come into the non-league test with a 18-5 record. In their last test, Orion bounced ROWVA/Williamsfield (Oneida, IL), 57-25, in a non-league test.
