January 31, 2025: Providence, RI 02908 Times Squared Academy Eagles (Providence, RI) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting North Smithfield Northmen (North Smithfield, RI), 69-55 in a league match.
With the victory, Times Squared Academy advances its record to 11-4 on the year. The Eagles travel to Toll Gate (Warwick, RI) to face the Titans in a Division III match on Tuesday, February 4. The Titans enter the match with a record of 13-4. Toll Gate lost 67-56 in their recent league match against Hope (Providence, RI)
The Northmen now own a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Exeter-West Greenwich for a Division III match on Tuesday, February 4. North Smithfield will face a Scarlet Knights squad coming off a 60-42 league loss to Mt. Hope (Bristol, RI). The Scarlet Knights record now stands at 9-6.
