In Tuesday's league contest, the host Central Falls Warriors basketball team scored a close 55-49 triumph over the North Smithfield Northmen.

The Warriors (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. Hope (Bristol, RI). The Huskies go into the Division 3 contest with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Mt. Hope was nudged by Cranston East (Cranston, RI), 54-51, in a non-league battle.

The Northmen now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Coventry for a non-league battle on Friday, December 27.
