Michigan High School Basketball - Seaholm bested by South Lyon East
January 31, 2025: South Lyon, MI 48178 South Lyon East Cougars (South Lyon, MI) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Seaholm Maples (Birmingham, MI), 50-42 in a non-league match.
With the victory, South Lyon East advances its record to 10-7 on the year. The Cougars host Milford (Highland, MI) to face the Mavericks in a Lakes Valley match on Tuesday, February 4. The Mavericks enter the match with a record of 11-3. Milford lost 50-47 in their recent league match against Mott (Waterford, MI)
The Maples now own a 2-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Athens for a Oakland - White match on Tuesday, February 4.
