Trico Pioneers (Campbell Hill, IL) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Sesser-Valier Red Devils (Sesser, IL), 55-49 in a league match.

With the victory, Trico advances its record to 6-18 on the year. The Pioneers travel to Martinsville (Martinsville, IL) to face the Bluestreaks in a non-league match on Saturday, February 1. The Bluestreaks enter the match with a record of 9-11. Martinsville lost 51-44 in their recent non-league match against Sandoval (Sandoval, IL)
