Minnesota High School Basketball - Worthington knocks off St. Peter
January 31, 2025: Worthington, MN 56187 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Worthington Trojans (Worthington, MN) and the visiting St. Peter Saints (St. Peter, MN), observed Worthington's basketball team overcome St. Peter by a margin of 87-74.
The Trojans (4-14) will now prepare for their challenge against New Ulm (New Ulm, MN). The Eagles come into the AAA Section 2 challenge with a 5-15 record. In their last challenge, New Ulm dropped by Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial (Lake Crystal, MN), 79-70, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Saints battle the Fairmont Cardinals (Fairmont, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. St. Peter will attempt to better on its 9-11 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 12-7 record after their 71-50 non-league win over Blue Earth (Blue Earth, MN).
