The San Lorenzo Valley Cougars basketball squad (Felton, CA), was outscored 38-26 in Friday's league battle with the host Aptos Mariners (Aptos, CA)

With the victory, Aptos advances its record to 12-9 on the year. The Mariners host Soquel (Soquel, CA) to meet the Knights in a Santa Cruz Coast battle on Tuesday, February 4. The Knights enter the battle with a record of 4-9. Soquel lost 61-22 in their recent league battle against Santa Cruz (Santa Cruz, CA)

The Cougars now own a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harbor for a Santa Cruz Coast battle on Tuesday, February 4. San Lorenzo Valley will meet a Pirates squad coming off a 58-9 league loss to Scotts Valley (Scotts Valley, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 1-16.
