Alaska High School Basketball - Bettye Davis East Anchorage holds off Eagle River

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Bettye Davis East Anchorage Thunderbirds basketball team scored a close 45-41 triumph over the Eagle River Wolves.

The Thunderbirds (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against Chugiak (Chugiak, AK). The Mustangs go into the 4A Cook Inlet contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Chugiak nipped Palmer (Palmer, AK), 42-32, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Wolves confront the Dimond Lynx (Anchorage, AK) in a 4A Cook Inlet contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Eagle River will attempt to better on its 2-8 season record. The Lynx go into the contest with a 8-3 record after their 66-51 league loss to Service (Anchorage, AK).
