Kansas High School Basketball - Cherryvale fells Bluestem
January 31, 2025: Cherryvale, KS 67335 The Cherryvale Chargers basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Bluestem Lions to 41 in the Chargers league triumph on Friday.
The Chargers now possess a 8-2 record. They play next when they host Erie for a Tri-Valley game on Tuesday, February 4. Cherryvale will confront a Red Devils team coming off a 62-27 league loss to Humboldt (Humboldt, KS). The Red Devils record now stands at 2-13.
With the loss, Bluestem falls to 7-4 on the campaign. The Lions travel to West Elk (Howard, KS) to confront the Patriots in a non-league game on Monday, February 3. The Patriots go into the game with a record of 4-8. West Elk lost 30-11 in their recent league game against Udall (Udall, KS)
