February 4, 2025: Leon, KS 67074 The Caney Valley Bullpups (Caney, KS) basketball crushed the host Bluestem Lions (Leon, KS), 58-34 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Bullpups now possess a 8-2 record. They play next when they host Humboldt for a Tri-Valley bout on Friday, February 7. Caney Valley will play a Cubs team coming off a 52-21 non-league win over Jayhawk Linn (Mound City, KS). The Cubs record now stands at 10-5.
With the loss, Bluestem falls to 9-6 on the campaign. The Lions host Erie (Erie, KS) to play the Red Devils in a Tri-Valley bout on Friday, February 7. The Red Devils go into the bout with a record of 2-14. Erie lost 82-33 in their recent league bout against Cherryvale (Cherryvale, KS)
