The Midway Raiders basketball squad (Dunn, NC), was crushed 56-33 in Friday's league battle with the host Clinton Dark Horses (Clinton, NC)

With the victory, Clinton advances its record to 12-7 on the year. The Dark Horses host Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Monday, February 3. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a record of 5-9. Wallace-Rose Hill won 46-33 in their recent league battle against North Lenoir (LaGrange, NC)

The Raiders now own a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fairmont for a 2A Southeastern battle on Tuesday, February 4. Midway will play a Golden Tornadoes team coming off a 45-30 league win over Red Springs (Red Springs, NC). The Golden Tornadoes record now stands at 17-1.
