The McClatchy Lions (Sacramento, CA) basketball crushed the host Cordova Lancers (Rancho Cordova, CA), 75-10 in Friday's league bout.

The Lions now possess a 18-6 record. They play next when they travel to Acalanes for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 1. McClatchy will play a Dons team coming off a 72-25 league win over Clayton Valley Charter (Concord, CA). The Dons record now stands at 21-1.

With the loss, Cordova falls to 4-22 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Antelope (Antelope, CA) to play the Titans in a Metropolitan Conference bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 16-7. Antelope lost 61-56 in their recent non-league bout against California (San Ramon, CA)
