January 31, 2025: Grand Rapids, MI 49534 The Covenant Christian Chargers (Grand Rapids, MI) basketball were winner over the visiting Hamilton Hawkeyes (Hamilton, MI), 38-28 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Chargers now possess a 4-9 record. They play next when they host Kalamazoo Christian for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 1. Covenant Christian will play a Comets team coming off a 50-14 non-league win over Martin (Martin, MI). The Comets record now stands at 9-1.
With the loss, Hamilton falls to 4-9 on the campaign. The Hawkeyes host Spring Lake (Spring Lake, MI) to play the Lakers in a non-league bout on Monday, February 3. The Lakers go into the bout with a record of 9-5. Spring Lake won 44-33 in their recent non-league bout against Holland (Holland, MI)
