Oregon High School Basketball - Santiam overwhelms Delphian
January 31, 2025: Sheridan, OR 97378 The Santiam Wolverines basketball team scored 54 points and limited the host Delphian Dragons to 23 in the Wolverines league triumph on Friday.
The Wolverines now have a 12-8 record. They play next when they travel to Colton for a 2A Tri-River game on Monday, February 3. Santiam will confront a Vikings team coming off a 49-23 league loss to Western Christian (Salem, OR). The Vikings record now stands at 8-10.
With the loss, Delphian falls to 1-12 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Salem Academy (Salem, OR) to confront the Crusaders in a 2A Tri-River game on Monday, February 3. The Crusaders go into the game with a record of 19-2. Salem Academy won 60-17 in their recent league game against Gervais (Gervais, OR)
