January 31, 2025: Guymon, OK 73942 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the El Reno Indians (El Reno, OK) and the host Guymon Tigers (Guymon, OK), observed El Reno's basketball team knock off Guymon by a score of 32-16.
The Indians (15-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Southeast (Oklahoma City, OK). The Spartans come into the 5A District 1 challenge with a 7-10 record. In their last challenge, Southeast dropped by Elgin (Elgin, OK), 67-23, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers encounter the Elgin Owls (Elgin, OK) in a 5A District 1 challenge, on Saturday, February 1. Guymon will attempt to improve on its 9-7 season record. The Owls come into the challenge with a 3-9 record after their 48-34 non-league loss to Enid (Enid, OK).
