In Friday's league contest, the host Georgia Military College Bulldogs basketball team scored a close 29-26 triumph over the Twiggs County Cobras.

The Bulldogs (1-16) will now prepare for their contest against Glascock County (Gibson, GA). The Panthers go into the A D2 Region 5 contest with a 9-13 record. In their last contest, Glascock County nipped Wilkinson County (Irwinton, GA), 52-35, in a league contest.
