In Friday's league contest, the visiting Independence 76ers basketball team scored a close 43-37 win over the Walnut Ridge Scots.

The 76ers (11-7) will now prepare for their contest against Westerville Central (Westerville, OH). The Warhawks come into the non-league contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Westerville Central was tipped by Grove City (Grove City, OH), 52-39, in a league contest.
