New Hampshire High School Basketball - Souhegan trounced by Oyster River
January 31, 2025: Durham, NH 03824 Oyster River Bobcats (Durham, NH) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Souhegan Sabers (Amherst, NH), 58-34 in a league match.
With the victory, Oyster River advances its record to 10-2 on the year. The Bobcats travel to Bishop Brady (Concord, NH) to meet the Giants in a Division II match on Friday, February 7. The Giants enter the match with a record of 3-9.
The Sabers now own a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pembroke for a Division II match on Tuesday, February 4. Souhegan will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 44-37 league win over Merrimack Valley (Penacook, NH). The Spartans record now stands at 9-4.
