Kansas High School Basketball - Phillipsburg sneaks past Smith Center
January 31, 2025: Phillipsburg, KS 67661 The Phillipsburg Panthers basketball team scored 40 points and limited the visiting Smith Center Redmen to 34 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now possess a 12-3 record. They play next when they travel to Hill City for a Mid-Continent game on Tuesday, February 4. Phillipsburg will play a Ringnecks team coming off a 57-10 league loss to Oakley (Oakley, KS). The Ringnecks record now stands at 0-12.
With the loss, Smith Center falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Redmen travel to Hoxie (Hoxie, KS) to play the Indians in a Mid-Continent game on Tuesday, February 4. The Indians go into the game with a record of 12-2. Hoxie won 69-58 in their recent non-league game against Quinter (Quinter, KS)
