Arkansas High School Basketball - Shirley trounced by Sacred Heart
January 31, 2025: Morrilton, AR 72110 Sacred Heart Rebels (Morrilton, AR) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Shirley Blue Devils (Shirley, AR), 59-31 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Sacred Heart advances its record to 20-6 on the year. The Rebels host Midland (Pleasant Plains, AR) to meet the Mustangs in a 1A Region 5 match on Monday, February 3. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 0-13.
The Blue Devils now own a 1-25 record. They put it on the line next when they host Viola for a 1A Region 2 match on Monday, February 3. Shirley will meet a Longhorns squad coming off a 44-33 league win over Norfork (Norfork, AR). The Longhorns record now stands at 13-12.
