Arkansas High School Basketball - Hector crushes Shirley
January 4, 2025: Hector, AR 72843 The Hector Wildcats (Hector, AR) basketball crushed the visiting Shirley Blue Devils (Shirley, AR), 56-21 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 2-9 record. They play next when they host Hackett for a 2A Region 4 bout on Tuesday, January 7. Hector will play a Hornets team coming off a 45-36 non-league win over Lavaca (Lavaca, AR). The Hornets record now stands at 6-9.
With the loss, Shirley falls to 0-20 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Timbo (Timbo, AR) to play the Tigers in a 1A Region 2 bout on Monday, January 6. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 5-15. Timbo lost 67-24 in their recent non-league bout against Pangburn (Pangburn, AR)
