New Mexico High School Basketball - Del Norte nudges Valley
January 31, 2025: Albuquerque, NM 87107 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Del Norte Knights (Albuquerque, NM) and the host Valley Vikings (Albuquerque, NM), observed Del Norte's basketball team edge Valley by a score of 26-24.
The Knights (1-7) will now prepare for their challenge against West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 6-4 record. In their last challenge, West Mesa edged Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM), 49-0, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Vikings encounter the Bernalillo Spartans (Bernalillo, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Valley will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 49-41 non-league loss to Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM).
