The South Iredell Vikings (Statesville, NC) basketball edged the visiting Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC), 28-25 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Vikings now possess a 6-8 record. They play next when they host Mooresville for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 4. South Iredell will play a Blue Devils team coming off a 42-11 non-league loss to West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 4-5.
