The South Mecklenburg Sabres basketball team scored 40 points and limited the visiting Palisades Pumas to 9 in the Sabres non-league triumph on Friday.

The Sabres now possess a 14-4 record. They play next when they host West Charlotte for a non-league game on Monday, February 3. South Mecklenburg will play a Lions team coming off a 42-11 non-league win over Mooresville (Mooresville, NC). The Lions record now stands at 7-5.
