Ohio High School Ice Hockey - Troy knocks off Whitmer
January 31, 2025: Toledo, OH 43613 The Troy Trojans ice hockey team scored 6 points and held the host Whitmer Panthers to 3 in the Trojans non-league victory on Friday.
The Trojans now hold a 20-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Beavercreek for a bout on Saturday, February 1. Troy will play a Beavers team coming off a 5-2 league loss to Archbishop Alter (Kettering, OH). The Beavers record now stands at 5-16.
With the defeat, Whitmer moves to 3-12 on the season. The Panthers host Clay (Oregon, OH) to play the Eagles in a bout on Saturday, February 1. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 14-8. Clay lost 8-3 in their recent non-league bout against St. Xavier (Cincinnati, OH)
