In Friday's league contest, the host Coolidge Bears basketball team scored a big 80-25 triumph over the Globe Tigers.

The Bears (10-6) will now prepare for their contest against Florence (Florence, AZ). The Gophers go into the contest with a 6-0 record. In their last contest, Florence smashed Apache Junction (Apache Junction, AZ), 71-35, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Apache Junction Prospectors (Apache Junction, AZ) in a contest, on Thursday, February 6. Globe will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record.
