The Eastern Montgomery Mustangs basketball team scored 40 points and limited the visiting Narrows Green Waves to 29 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now have a 11-5 record. They play next when they host Bland County for a non-league game on Thursday, February 6. Eastern Montgomery will confront a Bears team coming off a 53-29 non-league loss to Giles (Pearisburg, VA). The Bears record now stands at 0-9.

With the loss, Narrows falls to 4-9 on the campaign. The Green waves travel to Craig County (New Castle, VA) to confront the Rockets in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4.
