The Helix Highlanders basketball team scored 63 points and limited the visiting El Capitan Vaqueros to 40 in the Highlanders league triumph on Friday.

The Highlanders now possess a 13-5 record. They play next when they travel to Mount Miguel for a game on Friday, February 7.

With the loss, El Capitan falls to 4-17 on the campaign. The Vaqueros travel to Monte Vista (Spring Valley, CA) to confront the Monarchs in a game on Tuesday, February 4. The Monarchs go into the game with a record of 3-20. Monte Vista lost 73-36 in their recent league game against Mount Miguel (Spring Valley, CA)
