Virginia High School Basketball - Lafayette nips Jamestown
January 31, 2025: Williamsburg, VA 23188 In Friday's non-league contest, the host Lafayette Rams basketball team scored a close 48-46 triumph over the Jamestown Eagles.
The Rams (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against New Kent (New Kent, VA). The Trojans go into the non-league contest with a 11-3 record. In their last contest, New Kent was tipped by Bruton (Williamsburg, VA), 62-45, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Warhill Lions (Williamsburg, VA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Jamestown will attempt to better on its 3-9 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 9-7 record after their 79-35 non-league loss to Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA).
