California High School Basketball - Stevenson thwarts Marina
January 31, 2025: Marina, CA 93933 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Stevenson Pirates (Pebble Beach, CA) and the host Marina Mariners (Marina, CA), observed Stevenson's basketball team knock off Marina by a score of 51-42.
The Pirates (6-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Seaside (Seaside, CA). The Spartans come into the challenge with a 0-7 record. In their last challenge, Seaside was knocked off by Hollister (Hollister, CA), 71-39, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Mariners encounter the Watsonville Wildcatz (Watsonville, CA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Marina will attempt to improve on its 8-9 season record. The Wildcatz come into the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 59-37 league loss to Monte Vista Christian (Watsonville, CA).
