In Friday's league contest, the visiting Whitko Wildcats basketball team scored a close 30-25 triumph over the Peru Tigers.

The Wildcats (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against North Miami (Denver, IN). The Warriors go into the non-league contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, North Miami was tipped by Rochester (Rochester, IN), 39-20, in a non-league contest.
