California High School Soccer - Yerba Buena knocks off Independence
January 31, 2025: San Jose, CA 95122 In Friday's league outing, the host Yerba Buena Aztec Warriors soccer squad scored a tight 3-0 victory over the Independence 76ers.
The Aztec Warriors (7-4) will now prepare for their outing against Gilroy (Gilroy, CA). The Mustangs go into the BVAL - West Valley outing with a 9-3 record. In their last outing, Gilroy got by Evergreen Valley (San Jose, CA), 3-2, in a league outing.
Next up, the 76ers play the San Jose Bulldogs (San Jose, CA) in a BVAL - West Valley outing, on Wednesday, February 5. Independence will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a 2-12 record after their 4-1 league loss to James Lick (San Jose, CA).
