General Trass Panthers (Lake Providence, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Bastrop Rams (Bastrop, LA), 51-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, General Trass upgrades its record to 8-7 on the season. The Panthers travel to Madison (Tallulah, LA) to clash with the Jaguars in a 2A District 2 bout on Friday, January 7. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 17-1. Madison won 69-45 in their recent league bout against Ferriday (Ferriday, LA)

Next up, the Rams clash with the Delhi Charter Gators (Delhi, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 7. Bastrop will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record.
