In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Lowndes Vikings (Valdosta, GA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Brooks County Trojans (Quitman, GA), by a margin of 72-44.

The Vikings (8-2) will now prepare for their outing against Tift County (Tifton, GA). The Blue Devils go into the AAAAAAA Region 1 outing with a 5-6 record. In their last outing, Tift County smashed Fitzgerald (Fitzgerald, GA), 45-35, in a non-league outing.

The Trojans now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Atkinson County for a A Public Region 2 outing on Friday, January 7. Brooks County will encounter a Rebels squad coming off a 48-45 non-league loss to Cook (Adel, GA). The Rebels record now stands at 0-11.
