Ridgeview (Clintwood, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Central Warriors (Norton, VA), 75-66 in a league bout.

With the win, Ridgeview upgrades its record to 11-0 on the season. The travel to Battle (Bristol, VA) to clash with the Trojans in a Mountain bout on Saturday, January 8. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 4-4.

Next up, the Warriors clash with the Union [Appalachia/Powell Valley] Bears (Appalachia, VA) in a Mountain bout, on Friday, January 7. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 68-15 league win over Lee (Jonesville, VA).
