The Dripping Springs Tigers basketball team (Dripping Springs, TX), was overwhelmed 79-54 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Seguin Matadors (Seguin, TX)

The Matadors now possess a 8-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alamo Heights for a 5A Region IV District 26 battle on Friday, January 7. Seguin will battle a Mules team coming off a 66-30 league win over Lehman (Kyle, TX). The Mules record now stands at 13-8.

The Tigers (5-14) will now prepare for their battle against Tivy (Kerrville, TX). The Antlers come into the 5A Region IV District 26 battle with a 7-7 record. In their last battle, Tivy was overwhelmed by Boerne-Champion (Boerne, TX), 71-42, in a league battle.
