The Southwest Roughriders basketball team (Bartley, NE), was routed 55-16 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Hitchcock County Falcons (Trenton, NE)

The Falcons now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wauneta-Palisade for a non-league battle on Friday, January 7. Hitchcock County will battle a Broncos team coming off a 35-34 non-league win over Arapahoe (Arapahoe, NE). The Broncos record now stands at 2-8.
