Kentucky High School Basketball - Breathitt County can't hold off Perry County Central

The Perry County Central Commodores basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host Breathitt County Bobcats to 55 in the Commodores non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Commodores now sport a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to George Rogers Clark for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. Perry County Central will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 52-51 non-league win over Great Crossing (Georgetown, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 9-4.

The Bobcats (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Jackson City (Jackson, KY). The Tigers come into the District 55 contest with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, Jackson City edged Owsley County (Booneville, KY), 79-63, in a non-league contest.
