California High School Basketball - Buhach Colony knocked off by Golden Valley
January 4, 2023: Merced, CA 95341 The Golden Valley Cougars basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Buhach Colony Thunder to 48 in the Cougars league triumph on Wednesday.
The Cougars now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Atwater for a Central California Conference contest on Friday, January 6. Golden Valley will battle a Falcons team coming off a 56-41 league win over Patterson (Patterson, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 16-0.
The Thunder (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against El Capitan (Merced, CA). The Gauchos enter the Central California Conference contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, El Capitan ran past Merced (Merced, CA), 57-24, in a league contest.
