In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Mt. Shasta Bears basketball team scored a decisive 82-54 triumph over the Hamilton Braves.

In their next game, the Bears face the Fall River Bulldogs (McArthur, CA) in a Shasta Cascade match, on Friday, January 6. Mt. Shasta will attempt to move on its 5-10 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 8-6 record after their 73-50 non-league loss to Quincy (Quincy, CA).
