California High School Basketball - Mt. Shasta nips Fall River

January 6, 2023: McArthur, CA 96056

Mt. Shasta Bears (Mt. Shasta, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Fall River Bulldogs (McArthur, CA), 67-63 in a league bout.

With the win, Mt. Shasta upgrades its record to 6-10 on the season. The Bears host Etna (Etna, CA) to play the Lions in a Shasta Cascade bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 5-6. Etna lost 73-56 in their recent non-league bout against Weed (Weed, CA)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Quincy Trojans (Quincy, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 7. Fall River will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 12-3 record after their 73-50 non-league win over Fall River (McArthur, CA).
