In Friday's league outing, the Mt. Shasta Bears (Mt. Shasta, CA) basketball squad nipped the host Trinity Wolves (Weaverville, CA), by a margin of 43-40.

The Bears (12-11) will now prepare for their outing against Modoc (Alturas, CA). The Braves go into the Shasta Cascade outing with a 4-21 record. In their last outing, Modoc was tipped by Trinity (Weaverville, CA), 62-39, in a league outing.
